This role will drive process improvement across tax tools and systems, support annual tax provision for audit, and support integration of new and acquired companies into tax reporting. That's why we hire individuals who not only bring talent and passion, but who thrive in our unique culture and live out our Core Values: Commitment to Community, Teamwork, Passion for Excellence, Service-Centric, and Best Self.All remote positions are based in the United States, and candidates must reside within the U.S. to be eligible for consideration.In This Role, You Will...Prepare and compile global consolidated income tax filings, including quarterly and annual federal, state, and local reportsInvestigate and reconcile material tax variances; provide timely, accurate documentation and reportingCollaborate with internal teams and external tax partners to ensure accurate reporting and compliancePrepare and file franchise, revenue, and other non-income tax returns; manage tax authority communicationsResearch and apply tax law changes across various jurisdictionsSupport implementation and maintenance of sales tax tools (e.g., Vertex) to optimize sales tax complianceEnsure accurate sales tax calculation, collection, reporting, and reconciliation across jurisdictionsAssist with annual income tax provision, including reconciliations of book-tax differences per US GAAPProvide audit support and maintain documentation for tax accounting and acquisition transactionsAssess tax impacts of mergers and acquisitions; support tax integration and due diligence effortsRecommend and implement process improvements for tax automation, compliance, and data accuracyPromote a collaborative team culture through professionalism, open communication, and shared goalsWhat You Need to be Successful...Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field5-7 years' experience in tax preparation and compliance (income and sales/use tax)Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred (or CPA eligible)Experience with tax tools and ERP systems (Vertex, Workday, Office Connect)Experience with MS Office Suite; Advanced Excel skills requiredM&A tax experience is a plus; Prior public accounting or private equity experience is a plusExceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables; Effective time management, priority setting, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skills and solutions-oriented; Highly adaptable and able to embrace change with a positive attitudeAdvanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data Your Compensation… Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position, and the salary range for most locations for this role is $44,816 - $76,076 annually.
