This role can sit remotely, or in a hybrid capacity, but seeking someone who is open for quarterly travel for team building purposes. Our client is a dynamic tech company with a structure that includes one parent entity and eight rapidly growing operating companies. As they scale, we're navigating increasingly complex financial operations and need a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant to help us build and refine our processes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage accounting for one parent entity and eight operating companies, including micro-divisions. Oversee payables and ensure accurate allocation of expenses (e.g., D&O insurance across entities). Collaborate with the bookkeeper to input and reconcile invoices in the general ledger. Lead investment accounting efforts and handle complex billing scenarios. Support banking transitions, including setting up wire templates and managing multiple bank relationships. Work with vendors on credit card payments and ensure compliance with internal processes. Assist in the transition from cash to accrual accounting for tax purposes. Contribute to project work related to financial systems, process improvements, and vendor management. Partner with internal stakeholders to streamline invoice processing and payment workflows.
