About the Company and Opportunity:
Our client is a non-profit organization in Bethesda whose focus is to strengthen communities in America.
Due to a vacancy, they are bringing on a temporary Senior Accountant in their Bethesda office!
Position is hybrid (3 out, 2 in) and the schedule is Monday - Friday 8am-4pm. Laptop is provided and is metro accessible!
Pay is $40-42/hr - a great place to network, learn new software, and keep your skills alive!
This position is temporary, but for the right candidate it could go permanent!
Overview of the Senior Accountant role:
Month-end Close Reconciliations
Journal Entries
Financial Analysis
Oversee AP & AR
Ad hoc projects/reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
7+ years' accounting experience
Non-profit experience is a plus
Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) are a must
Sage Intacct and is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
