About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations across all company entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation in accounting, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working cross-functionally to support the company’s financial goals. Key Responsibilities: Daily Operations: Oversee daily transactions, including bank reconciliation across our three entities, accounts receivable invoicing, and bill entries. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure accuracy in these essential processes. Monthly Reporting: Prepare regular month-end journal entries, such as accruals, payroll, capitalization of costs, depreciation, and amortization. Your contributions will improve our financial transparency and compliance. Financial Analysis: prepare Revenue and Cash Flow Summaries. Process Improvement: As part of the transition to in-house accounting, continuously identify opportunities for process improvements. Your innovative problem-solving will enhance our efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Who You Are: You are an autonomous individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. Your Journey at ID5: 1st Month: Understand our processes and systems and start performing tasks under supervision. 3rd Month: Master all processes independently, with a focus on improving existing processes and finding the better way 6th Month - 1 Year+: Take on more complex responsibilities and contribute to our financial strategies. Must-Haves: Proven experience as a Senior Accountant in the start up environment Experience in full cycle accounting Proficiency in G-sheets Fluency in English. Actively pursuing ACCA/CPA certification. Extra Credit For: Proficiency in French.
