This is a fully remote role based in the Philippines.MissionEnsure the accurate and timely recording, reporting, and analysis of financial transactions while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Strive to provide insightful financial information that supports decision-making, enhances operational efficiency and contributes to the organization's financial health and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesPerform general accounting function which includes but are not limited to the following: Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Accrual Accounting, Variance Analysis, Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reconciliationAnalyze monthly campaign performance at the GP level and perform true-up/down on both the revenue and cost sideSupport the revenue and accounts receivable function including raising and approving invoices, chasing payments, accrual recording and reversal postingProvide a monthly update and analysis of the subsidiary ledger on actual invoices issued based on the campaign period to support the analysis and adjustment of accrued costPerform the monthly and annual financial close tasks within the internal timelinePreparation of audit schedules and requests including liaising with auditors and external stakeholdersProvide assistance as required during project implementation and participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline and automate processesPerform any other accounting/administration duties as assignedRequirementsAt least 4 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in full sets of accounts A strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is essential CPA/CA is preferred but not requiredKnowledge of Netsuite ERP is desirableStrong numerical and analytical skillsProactive, team player, meticulous, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to adhere to tight deadlinesMoneysmart culture values and tenetsThe traits we admire are core intrinsic qualities we look for in someone we want on our team, and we look for people who areHungry, Humble and Smart.We also expect all our people to uphold the following company values:Play to win as a teamSolve for the customerEmbrace a personal growth mindsetOwn it openlyChallenge the status quo and deliver outcomesMoneySmart Group is an equal opportunity employer.
