- Proven storytelling experience (true crime, investigative, documentary, or long-form nonfiction).
- Command of pacing, tension, and structure—no filler, no fluff.
- Ability to distill complex facts into clear, emotionally resonant narratives.
- Comfort tackling dark or sensitive subject matter with professionalism.

- Familiarity with police reports, interrogations, and bodycam narratives.
