Seeking Experienced CDI Specialists| Remote| Full-time - Clinical Experience
Position Overview
samstaff is seeking an experienced Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialist to join a fully remote engagement supporting inpatient CDI operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned CDI professional looking for a long-term assignment with a collaborative team, strong consultant support, and exceptional employee benefits.
The ideal candidate will bring recent production CDI experience, strong clinical documentation expertise, and a commitment to quality outcomes while working in a fast-paced remote environment.
We have two CDI opportunities to share with you:
1. Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialist – Remote
• Location: 100% Remote (Open Nationwide)
• Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
• Assignment Length: 1 Year

Schedule Options
Candidates must be available to work one of the following schedules:
• Eastern Time (EST): 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Central Time (CST): 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pacific Time (PST): 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Minimum Qualifications
• Candidates must hold CDIP or CCDS certification AND one of the following credentials: RHIT, RHIA, RN, CCS, CCS-P, MD
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient CDI experience
• Must have worked in an active production CDI role within the last 12 months
• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation integrity, DRG methodology, and compliant query practices preferred
2. RN CDI
• Location: 100% Remote (Open Nationwide)
• Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
• Long Temp assignment
• Schedule:M-F 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST | 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. CST | 5 a.m. – 2 p.m. PST
Minimum Qualifications
• Must have RN, BSN, or MSN
• Must also have CDIP or CCDS
• Must have recent experience with Cerner
• Three to five years’ experience in CDI
