Security Engineer - Detection & Response
We are looking for a highly-motivated Security Engineer Detection & Response to join our Security Engineering team at Netflix. As a Security Engineer, youll have the opportunity to be an integral part of our team and a key contributor to our mission of protecting the Netflix experience for our customers.This role requires strong technical and problem-solving skills as well as a deep understanding of security principles and technologies. You should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment, have the ability to prioritize tasks and projects, and have proven experience in threat detection and response.We are looking for someone with a passion for security and a desire to learn and apply new technologies. Responsibilities for a Security Engineer Detection & Response:
Develop and maintain systems and processes to detect and respond to security incidents.
Monitor security systems and alert the team to any suspicious activity.
Analyze security threats and vulnerabilities, and develop solutions for mitigating them.
Research and recommend new security tools and technologies.
Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure security protocols are properly implemented.
Stay up to date on the latest security trends and best practices.
Provide training and guidance to other team members on security topics.
Maintain documentation of security systems and processes.
Respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
