Security Engineer (DC Metro Area / Telework)
Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services.
We are recruiting an experienced Application Security Engineer to join our team. Work is hybrid telework with some work onsite in Washington, DC and may become full-time onsite in DC.
POSITION DUTIES: Primary job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform Application Security for Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and IDE Plug-in environments using Veracode.
Secure Linux/UNIX enterprise web applications.
Design and implement enterprise-wide security controls to secure applications, systems, network, and/or infrastructure services.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Applicants MUST have this experience:
3+ years of experience with supporting Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and IDE Plug-in environments using Veracode.
3+ years of experience with Burp Suite.
2+ years of experience with Java, Python, .NET, or C#.
Experience with securing enterprise web applications and OWASP Top 10, CVSS, CWE, WASC, and SANS-25.
Knowledge of Linux or UNIX environments, including navigating and troubleshooting basic website connectivity issues.
Knowledge of federal compliance standards, including NIST 800-53, FIPS, or FedRAMP.
Experience with Eclipse, JDeveloper, including pipeline development, or Visual Studio.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED
