Security Compliance Specialist II

Join our global Information Security team! The Security Compliance team works to improve Akamai’s overall security posture and that of our customers. Security Compliance cooperates with internal and external stakeholders to undertake compliance programs associated with external security standards. The staff works with external auditors, consultants and standards bodies. Partner with the best You will help to deliver compliance programs to demonstrate the security of Akamai’s distributed network and products. You will work with the Security Compliance team along with our stakeholders to support compliance operations. As a Security Compliance Specialist II , you will be responsible for: Creating detailed analysis to support compliance efforts, including detailed written reports, as well as presentations Investigating potential issues and developing potential solutions by working collaboratively with stakeholders Drafting governance documents to support and align with security initiatives and regulatory compliance Working independently and comfortably in ambiguous or less well-defined circumstances to develop clear analysis Building on existing successful programs to facilitate maturing operational processes & metrics Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have familiarity with the Internet and large scale technology companies Demonstrate passion for learning about security and compliance Have the ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks, and prioritise tasks to maximise productivity Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with industry compliance and security standard – nice to have (e.g., PCI, ISO, SOC 2, FedRAMP) Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai’s Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
