The Security Assurance Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, and organizing documentation related to information security, privacy, and compliance. The ideal candidate is charged with ensuring that external and internal audit requests are facilitated.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain accurate security, privacy, and compliance documentation sufficient for demonstrating compliance with audit requests
Respond to internal requests made to the infosec and security assurance department
Respond to sales and CSM requests for documentation needed by customers or prospects
Assist in evaluation of organization wide risks
Performs controls assessments in relation to KnowBe4 security assurance and certification projects
Review and assess controls and process descriptions within KCM GRC
Creation of policy and procedure documents related to KnowBe4 Security Assurance and Certification projects
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
A minimum of 1 year technical writing or process documentation experience
Some experience working in a software development, technology or cybersecurity field
Preferred: Industry recognized certification in any of the following: Security, Privacy, Risk, Audit, Project Management, IT
A solid understanding of technical terminology
Technical writing and process flow documentation experience
A desire to grow into an infosec, risk, or data privacy
An understanding of security best practices and frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS.
The compensation for this position ranges from $60,000 - $65,000 including base, bonuses and commissions, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
