The future of cybersecurity starts with you.About the Role:CrowdStrike is seeking a Security Architect to join our expanding Security Architecture and Engineering team within the Information Security department.The Security Architect is responsible for supporting the design and configuration of enterprise information systems in alignment with the organization's security standards and requirements. This role involves reviewing and improving the security posture, reviewing new and existing system security plans, participating in architecture reviews, creating and refining threat models, offering technical guidance to minimize security risks, and overseeing the execution of cybersecurity initiatives.As a Security Architect, you will function in a cross-functional role, collaborating with other teams and serving as a subject matter expert while adhering to industry-best security practices.What You'll Do:Leads the planning, implementation, documentation, and testing of security systemsDevelops security standards, policies, and proceduresPartners with business units to understand technology needs and to integrate security across various business use casesDetermines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and needs; researching information security standards; plan and collaborate with team members in conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessmentsPrepares security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trendsMaintains relevant job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizationsEnhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing tasks; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsAssist with ad-hoc operational tasks as requiredWhat You'll Need: Successful candidates will have extensive experience in the following areas:Threat ModelingSecurity Architecture DesignCloud Security in environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Assessing, designing, and securing AI systems and workflows as part of an enterprise security architectureNetwork SecurityAPI securityOrchestration and AutomationScriptingKnowledge and application of Cybersecurity Frameworks such as NIST, ISO, CISVendor Risk ReviewBonus Points:Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related technology fieldSpecialty Security certifications issued by GIAC, CompTIA, ISACA, or (ISC)As part of your role, you may be required to periodically undergo and pass alcohol and/or drug test(s) during the course of employment.
