As our Security Analyst, youll work to improve our Cyber Security program. Our network is our product, so we need someone with the right attitude, drive, experience, and skills to implement platforms and solutions. This role touches all aspects of cyber security from including risk and compliance to threat and vulnerability, as well as SOC related efforts. This Security Analyst will have a big impact on cybersecurity at Boingo, as we expand our cyber security program. If you are motivated, a team player with a can-do attitude handling multiple priorities, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities
Deploy Security Systems: Implement, configure security systems (SIEM, EDR, NAC).
Optimize Security Tool Performance: Analyze & enhance configurations.
Enhance Vulnerability Handling: Streamline identification, prioritization and remediation.
Vulnerability Scanning and Detection: Improve capabilities.
Coordinate Security Tool Integrations: Integrate and optimize tools.
Document Security Engineering: Create guides.
Partner on Security Enhancements: Collaborate with IT.
Requirements
1+ years in Information Security, Cyber Security; or 3+ years in IT.
Knowledge of systems, networks (TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, Operating Systems).
Industry certifications: A+, Security+, Network+, CCNA-Security, CC, SSCP
Experience with security, vulnerability management, event monitoring/analysis, endpoint protection.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively.
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
Industry certifications: CISSP, CySA+, CICSP, GSEC a plus.
Regulatory compliance standards & frameworks: PCI, NIST, ISO, GDPR a plus.
