The Seasonal Undergraduate Admissions Counselor is a remote, part-time position with the Office of Admissions that manages an assigned caseload of applications, following a holistic review process identifying qualified students who would benefit from matriculation at the Pratt Institute.

The position reports to the Director of Admissions.

The ideal candidate has admissions experience and is personable and self-motivated with strong organizational skills.Examples of Duties• Manage and process student applications with keen attention to detail• Review application materials, credentials, and portfolios to determine eligibility for admission in collaboration with admissions leadership• Maintain proficiency in global educational systems to accurately evaluate international and domestic documentation• Maintain accurate and current applicant records in the admissions CRM (Slate) to ensure documents correctly match the application recordQualificationsRequired:• Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited institution• Application reading experience• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Proficient in or willingness to learn Slate CRM system and use of Slideroom• Ability to think critically, analyze information, and make actionable recommendations• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritizePreferred:• Good sense of humorSupplemental InformationThis role is part-time, seasonal, remote within the United States, and paid hourly.Equal Employment Opportunity Statement
