Job Summary...
At UPS, you will be a part of an active team that delivers goods to customers. This team is characterized by its efficiency as well as the care it takes when handling packages. The position gives one an opportunity to grow within the organization; thus enabling them drive freely and deliver essential items whose satisfaction is always guaranteed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Convey packages using UPS delivery vehicles safely intended for residential or commercial areas.
Make sure customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery while dropping packages to them.
Stick strictly to DOT regulations plus all company policies and procedures such as UPS appearance guidelines.
Ensure proper handling and delivery of lifted or moved packages weighing up-to 70 lbs.
Work hand in hand with other members of a group so as to optimize efficiency regarding delivery routes together with schedules.
Keep accurate records about deliveries thus completing tasks assigned on time.
Qualifications and Experience:
A valid drivers license which has no record of any violation.
Capability to lift heavy weights not exceeding seventy pounds therefore passing a DOT physical test.
Good at communication with customers coupled by excellent customer service skills displayed over years in different fields like this one
High school diploma or an equivalent document from recognized institution
Having worked sometime before in package delivery industry would be an added advantage though not mandatory
