Job Description:
As an IT Service Desk Staff member, you will provide remote support to a large retail client. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving issues related to point-of-sale devices and other IT equipment. We offer flexible schedules with afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts, making it an ideal role for students managing academic commitments or those looking for seasonal work and extra income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote IT support to retail clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with point-of-sale devices
- Assist with basic IT inquiries and support requests
- Document and track support requests in a ticketing system
- Ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain client satisfaction
Additional duties may be required based on business needs.
The aforementioned duties may also be changed based on business needs.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older. Background checks are performed.
- Basic IT fundamental experience or prior retail experience
- Understanding of point-of-sale devices is a plus
- Minimum internet connection of 20MB
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
