SEO Manager

The SEO Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the strategy to increase visibility and site traffic on search engine results pages through organic search. Your primary goal will be to implement an SEO Content Marketing overarching strategy in partnership with our key stakeholders, through identifying current opportunities and business needs. The position requires in-depth knowledge of content SEO best practices and a proven track record of managing, optimizing, and growing organic search.

The successful candidate must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, project management skills, and the proven ability to collaborate and engage with management and key stakeholders cross-functionally.

The SEO Manager will report to Global Digital Media Manager.


Responsibilities:

Set and own the enterprise-wide SEO Content Marketing strategy for Agilent, working with internal teams, stakeholders, and SEO agency partners to scale impact.

Establish and lead SEO governance board that makes recommendations related to enterprise-wide SEO strategy, governance, infrastructure, goals, and performance measurement.

Collaborate to drive the strategic framework of an organic search program, including initial planning for content creation, implementation, quality checks, monitoring, optimization, reporting and analysis.

Analyze search performance, develop search strategies, and lead initiatives to grow SEO across the organization.

In conjunction with the internal Digital Channels team, run technical SEO audits and create recommendations and action plans.

Project manage the execution of SEO initiatives aimed at improving search visibility, working in close collaboration with product SMEs.

Provide monthly reporting on Agilent’s search performance, highlighting trends.

Monitor and benchmark industry peers and competitors, looking at different technical aspects of their site for insight and inspiration.

Integrate state-of-the-art SEO strategies and tactics into content, taxonomy, IA, technical SEO, SEM and content processes.

Collaborate with the technical SEO team to optimize website configuration, content relevance, and link popularity to increase organic search traffic, including assessing SEO audits and contributing to action plans.

Lead and manage integration of the SEO and SEM strategy across the entire organization.

Be a thought leader for SEO in the company, educating marketing, content strategy, digital platform/product management, design, and technical development teams on SEO best practices and industry trends. Continue developing SEO training to address gaps and further enterprise-wide SEO knowledge.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in digital media or SEO specific.

SEM experience is a plus.

Proficiency in SEO tools (SEM Rush, BrightEdge, etc.).

Preferred:

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Strong leadership skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Excellent presentation skills and ability to simplify complex workflows and concepts.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Attention to detail and accountability.

Experience working in a multinational environment.


Location: UK or Europe-wide at one of our main offices in Europe.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
