Scrum Master -Remote Washington DC) Candidates must be a U.S. citizen This effort begins upon award in Mid-February 2021. If combining the base period and option years, this contract has the ability to be up to 10 years. The Senior Functional Area Analyst must have significant experience with the analysis of business, functional, technical, activities, and events. The analyst is responsible for working with users and customers to document and strategize for process improvements for current business processes (business process re-engineering). Responsible for providing market research on conditions that impact the overall operational efficiency of an organization and identifying symptoms for process improvement. Must have deep knowledge of processes and risks. Education and Experience: o Assists integration of SAFe within the larger enterprise activities o Helps scrum team organize themselves within the Scaled Agile Framework. Assists Scrum team in improving communication, knowledge and sense of product ownership. o Coach Agile Teams for maximum business results o The Scrum Master should have a unique perspective on Scrum framework and team dynamics. o Facilitate effective iteration execution o Assists team in maintaining transparency concerning the team's projects and progress via multiple tools. Iteratively teratively analyzes the team progress to help project management team make informed decisions § Taskboard § Burn-down/burn-up charts § Action items § Assist in providing reports regarding sprint and Program Increment metrics, o Technical Familiarity: Scrum Master must to work with the team in finding a system that enables the team to accomplish tasks efficiently. o Facilitate Scrum Events § Assists Product Analysts in backlog refinement sessions which help team the create and maintain an organized backlog § Facilitates daily team scrum calls where team members will discuss: • What they worked on yesterday and what progress they made • What they are going to work on today • Any impediments or blocks they are experiencing o Facilitates team retrospectives sessions and Support relentless improvement § From this conversation team often find insights. Then with this insight the team decides how it will accomplish their work going forward. § Coordinates with Release Train Engineer, other Scrum Masters, The System Team and Shared Services to facilitate Program Increment Planning to ensure the train meets its Overall objectives o Assists in removing impediments to team progress o Support DevOps implementation -5 years of work experience -Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required OR 8 years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
