What We'll Bring: Seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master who has coached multiple teams and can demonstrate that has seen a range of possibilities, limitations, successes and failures across a variety of situations. What You'll Bring: What are we looking for: • At least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master • Scrum Master certification - desirable • Someone who appreciates the depths of agile practices and principles and can help teams appreciate them, too. • Someone who has faced big challenges, organizational impediments, and is able to identify what Scrum Masters stance to apply given a situation in the course of addressing them. • Someone who can help management at all levels of the organization to understand the benefits of working agile. • Someone who has brought ideas from professional facilitation, coaching, conflict management, mediation, theater, and more to help a team become a high-performance team. Impact You'll Make: Key responsibilities • Being servant leader, a facilitator and a coach for the Scrum team. • Facilitates Scrum events or Scrum ceremonies for the team • Motivates the teams to be self-organizing and encourages accountability • Helps to remove impediments • Helps the team to reflect and retrospect to improve the process continuously so as to enable long-term productivity and quality • Coaches outside groups affected by the project to help them understand how Scrum works and how their own work-groups may be affected. • Shields the team from external interference to help the team not become distracted from meeting its sprint commitments. • Provides regular feedback to the team and also celebrates team's success/small wins . • Ensures that the teams do not become complacent and the passion for Continuous improvement is in-tact. • Ensures transparency, inspection and adaptation • A Scrum Master while being a gentle influence may also dare to be disruptive and may act as a pebble in the shoe to drive a relentless improvement mindset in the Scrum team. • Drives organizational change by mentoring and coaching the organization on Agile and Scrum • Helps the organization plot a course from where it is today to where it wants to be when it has fully embraced Agile values and behaviors. This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
