Scrum Master

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery across critical projects. This is a fully remote, 4-month contract role with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will bring strong Agile leadership, excellent facilitation skills, and a proven track record guiding cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Experience in wealth management is a strong asset.Key Responsibilities:Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams delivering key initiativesFacilitate all Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives)Remove blockers and protect the team from external interruptionsEnsure consistent application of Agile principles and practicesCoach teams and stakeholders on Agile values and behaviorsSupport the Product Owner in managing the backlog and prioritizationTrack team performance and help drive continuous improvementFoster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise environmentsSolid understanding of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum and SAFeStrong facilitation, conflict resolution, and coaching skillsExperience working with Jira or similar Agile project management toolsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesNice-to-Have:Experience in the Wealth Management domainScrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)Experience working in the Canadian banking or financial services sector
