A screenwriter is seeking a skilled script consultant to provide a comprehensive review of their first unproduced screenplay. The consultation will take place during a podcast episode, focusing on actionable feedback to refine the script for crowdfunding and production readiness. Deliverables
• Participate in a podcast episode dedicated to reviewing and discussing the screenplay.
• Provide detailed, constructive feedback on plot, character development, pacing, and dialogue.
• Suggest revisions and enhancements to improve the script’s appeal for crowdfunding and production.
• Offer guidance on industry standards and best practices for screenwriting.
• Summarize key recommendations in a follow-up document for the writer.
Requirements
• Proven experience in screenwriting, script consulting, or script editing, with a portfolio of produced or optioned work preferred.
• Strong understanding of screenplay structure, character arcs, and narrative techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, actionable feedback in a podcast setting.
• Familiarity with the requirements of crowdfunding campaigns and independent film production.
• Ability to work remotely and accommodate a flexible recording schedule.
