Position Details
• Contract:1099 independent contracting structure
• Hours: Full-time hours (35-40 hours), including indirect time
• Platform: We work withZoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)
• Rate:$28-35/hour, depending on experience
• Caseload: K-12 students consisting of behavior needs

Requirements
• Degree:At least a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related degrees (preferred Master's Degree in Education)
• Certification:South Carolina state certification for Special Education
• Experience: Past SPED teaching experience, with remote experience preferred
• Set Up: Home computer with camera and microphone functions with strong internet connection, capable of running Zoom or Microsoft Teams

Requirements
• Provide online instruction for students with IEPs.
• Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with onsite staff and faculty to support student needs.
• Facilitate in virtual IEP meetings with family and faculty members.
