Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time role with school districts in the Waynesville, Montana area.
Responsibilities...
? Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
? Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
? Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings (inclusion, resource room, self-contained).
? Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and parents to support student learning and behavior management.
? Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings to determine eligibility and services.
? Maintain accurate and compliant special education documentation and progress reports.
Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred).
? Valid Montana teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
? Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
? Experience working with students with a range of disabilities and behavioral needs.
? Strong communication and collaboration skills.
