School Psychologist Teletherapy - AL
A telehealth School Psychologist position is available to provide specialized psychological services within an educational setting. This 1099 contract opportunity involves delivering assessments, consultations, and support remotely to students, educators, and families, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and best practices.
Location: Talladega, AL (Telehealth)
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Administer and interpret psychological assessments to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
ā¢ Conduct teletherapy sessions, providing counseling and intervention strategies tailored to individual student requirements.
ā¢ Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
ā¢ Monitor student progress and provide ongoing recommendations to support academic and social-emotional development.
ā¢ Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with professional standards and school policies.
ā¢ Stay current on evidence-based practices and emerging trends in school psychology, especially within telehealth delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
ā¢ Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
ā¢ Experience delivering psychological services in school environments, with a strong preference for telehealth proficiency.
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills tailored to remote interactions.
ā¢ Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
ā¢ Familiarity with educational laws, regulations, and special education processes.
ā¢ Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to operate under a 1099 contract arrangement.
