Virtual School Psychologist – North Carolina

Position Details
• Location: Remote
• Schedule: School-day hours (aligned with student schedules)
• Employment Type: 1099 (Independent Contractor)
• Availability: to complete assessments within a week or two from assignment and attend IEP meetings

This is a part-time, remote, school-based School Psychologist role, supporting students across K–12 school settings. You’ll work in coordination with school teams and families, supported by clear workflows, structured onboarding, and dedicated internal support. You will be tasked with completing Psychological Assessments throughout the school year, complete documentation in ECATs and attend IEP meetings. The school expects 10-12 assessments throughout the year.

Compensation & Pay Structure
• Rate: $55- $65 per hour
• Paid for assessments, IEP meetings and documentation at the same hourly rate
• Paid training ($20/hour), including HR onboarding, platform training, and school-specific training

Requirements

Requirements
• NC Psychology Board license
• Department of Public Instruction (DPI) license
• Experience with IEPs and school-based collaboration (1 year minimum experience preferred)
• Experience with ECATS (1 year minimum experience preferred)
• Comfortable using technology for virtual service delivery, including online platforms and documentation systems
• Reliable internet connection and access to appropriate technology for virtual service delivery

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct assessments
• Complete assessment writeups and documentation in ECATS

Scheduling
• Services are delivered during standard school hours (typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Scheduling is aligned with student availability
• Structured caseloads and scheduling support
