School Psychologist Needed

Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team and provide essential support to students in Tallahassee, FL. As a School Psychologist, you will work closely with educators and parents to develop strategies that promote positive student outcomes, support social and emotional development, and assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of learning challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
? Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
? Collaborate with teachers and staff to create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
? Provide counseling services to students to help manage mental health concerns, emotional difficulties, and behavior issues.
? Offer crisis intervention and support to students in need.
? Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, services provided, and recommendations.
? Provide consultation and training to school personnel on mental health topics.

Required Qualifications:
? Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
? Current Florida State certification as a School Psychologist.
? Minimum of one year of experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting.
? Knowledge of state and federal laws related to special education and school psychology.
? Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
