Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
Provide individual and group counseling to students to address various emotional and behavioral issues.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create a comprehensive support system for students.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
Educate and support families and staff in understanding students' psychological needs and strategies for improvement.
Education and Certification Requirements:
MasterΒs or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Certification as a School Psychologist through the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
Illinois state licensure as a School Psychologist.
Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
