SAP SD/Logistics Senior Consultant / Stream Lead
This is a remote position.
For a Scandinavian SAP consulting company, we are looking for an experienced SAP SD/Logistics Senior Consultant / Stream Lead for long-term cooperation on a major S/4HANA migration project for a global manufacturing customer located in Germany.
The company delivers high-quality SAP solutions across S/4HANA transformation, SAP Core, data migration, process design, and advisory, combining Nordic engineering standards with stable teams, ownership, and a strong focus on business outcomes.
The selected consultant will act as a subject matter expert for the Lead-to-Cash / SD and Logistics area and lead a team of consultants within this stream, supporting end-to-end data migration activities and cooperating closely with business, IT, template, and data migration project stakeholders.
The project is currently expected to start with a ramp-up phase in July, with full-scale project work planned from September. The assignment is expected to last 12+ months.
The project is a multi-front, multi-domain SAP S/4HANA migration, with parallel focus areas across Design to Operate, Procure-to-Pay, Lead-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and Material Master / Master Data Management. The customer is considering one consultant to lead each focus area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of data experts (source and target) through the end-to-end data migration process in the Lead-to-Cash domain.
• Plan, align, and track deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
• Provide regular updates on status, risks, and issues to the Data Migration Project Lead.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and ensure alignment.
• Define and align the data migration scope within the Lead-to-Cash domain.
• Enable the team with a clear understanding of migration concepts, approach, and constraints.
• Facilitate solution design for identified gaps in close collaboration with business and IT experts.
• Drive documentation, data validation, and defect resolution activities.
• Coordinate data migration inputs for cutover planning and execution.
• Ensure readiness of system configurations in alignment with the template team.
• Develop and maintain domain-specific migration assets to support scalable rollouts.
• Continuously enhance domain knowledge through close collaboration with the expert community.
Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in SAP project or workstream management.
• Strong experience in the SAP Lead-to-Cash functional data domain, covering SD, sales, delivery, returns, and logistics.
• Experience in functional data migration in SAP ERP transformations, ideally S/4HANA.
• Ability to lead a team of consultants or data experts within the assigned domain.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-driven personality, able to operate in high-pressure, fast-moving, and complex environments.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and IT teams.
• Very good English communication skills are a must.
• German language skills are a strong plus.
