Job Description:
• Application Solution Architect is responsible for technical leadership of multiple global squads to deliver new solutions to replace highly complex IBM soft segmented systems currently providing master data support for the client's critical business processes.
• The architect will need to establish a solution architecture that will encompass, SAP 4/HANA, "Out of the box" or SaaS software and custom interfaces.
• They will be responsible to simplify the data architecture and work with the business to simplify business processes.
• They will oversee execution of the architecture, develop a performance test, end to end test strategy, as well as data migration and deployment strategy and ultimately sunset the current systems.
• They will need to communicate to all levels of management and technical personnel and produce all required architectural deliverables.
Functional and technical knowledge in SAP is a must have.
• Skills: Self-motivated, leadership and passion for learning.
• Expertise in the data, solution, and technology domains.
• Mindset for serving business customers.
• Technical Leadership - ability to lead business analysts, IT, business, and project teams.
• Experience in discovery of as-is, defining and implementing to-be architecture.
• Track record of navigating and understating complex business application and data architectures and leading successful transformation and simplification initiatives.
• Knowledge and experience of master and transaction data integrations in a heterogeneous application landscape.
• Functional and technical knowledge of contacts, customer, material, and supplier master data in SAP.
• Knowledge of HR master data, Workday
• Knowledge of Duns & Bradstreet data (DUNS match, GOE, SOE etc..) and interfaces and how it relates
• Knowledge of order-2-cash, finance, procurement, and HR processes.
• Experience with analysis of current state of legacy applications and use it to define a future state in SAP.
• Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, ETL and master data governance process.
• Experience in S/4HANA and SAP Master Data Governance
