SAP PP Lead Consultant (Production Control & Scheduling) – US Based Only

Job Title: SAP PP / Production Control & Scheduling (PCS) Lead

Location: Remote

We are looking for an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Lead Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ECC manufacturing processes, specifically Production Control & Scheduling (PCS). The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Work Centers, Bill of Materials (BOM), Routings, and Production Order execution.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead SAP PP / PCS functional workstreams and collaborate with business stakeholders.
• Conduct requirements gathering workshops and prepare system demonstrations and presentations.
• Configure and document SAP PP solutions including process flows and functional specifications.
• Manage test planning, SIT/UAT support, and change management activities.
• Support production order lifecycle processes from creation to confirmation and goods receipt.
• Work with cross-functional teams for integration with PLM and MES systems.
• Maintain key decision documentation, reporting, and configuration standards.

Required Skills
• Strong experience in SAP ECC Production Planning (PP).
• Hands-on experience with Work Centers, BOM, Routings, and Production Orders.
• Expertise in MRP, Shop Floor Execution, and Material Master (MRP/Scheduling/Costing views).
• Experience with Production Order lifecycle, subcontracting, kitting, and rework processes.
• Knowledge of MTS / MTO processes with WBS.
• Experience with functional specifications and testing (SIT/UAT).

Nice to Have
• S/4HANA experience
• Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry experience
• Exposure to PLM and MES integrations
