SAP MM/P2P Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP MM Procurement Project Manager to drive procurement transformation within a complex retail environment. This role will lead the design and delivery of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solutions across SAP S/4HANA, with a strong focus on retail supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead SAP MM implementations focused on retail procurement, inventory, and supply chain
ā¢ Define S/4HANA P2P architecture, roadmap, and solution design
ā¢ Conduct fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, and end-to-end process design
ā¢ Facilitate cross-functional architecture discussions across business and IT stakeholders
ā¢ Design and configure procurement processes including requisitions, purchase orders, inventory management, vendor evaluation, and invoice verification
ā¢ Lead Accounts Payable optimization (three-way match, exception handling, payment processing)
ā¢ Oversee integrations with WMS, EDI, legacy, and third-party systems
ā¢ Partner with Finance to streamline workflows and improve vendor payment cycles
ā¢ Oversee article, vendor, and purchasing master data governance
ā¢ Support retail-specific capabilities including pricing, listing, promotions, and replenishment
ā¢ Ensure alignment with SAP IS-Retail objects and processes
ā¢ Translate business requirements into functional specifications
ā¢ Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements and integrations
ā¢ Support testing, training, and change management activities
Required Experience
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business Systems, or related field
ā¢ 10+ years of SAP MM experience, including 3+ years in retail
ā¢ Proven leadership experience on SAP implementations
ā¢ Deep expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and retail supply chain processes
ā¢ Strong integration experience across WMS, EDI, SD/Order-to-Cash, Inventory, and Accounts Payable
ā¢ Hands-on experience with SAP IS-Retail (Article Master, Site Master, Listing, Pricing)
ā¢ Experience with BAPI, IDocs, APIs, Fiori, and S/4HANA integrations (including legacy/mainframe systems)
ā¢ Exposure to Ariba modules (Sourcing, Buying, Contracts, Supplier Management) preferred
ā¢ Familiarity with SAP BTP and AI-enabled process automation
ā¢ Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Compensation: $160,000-175,000
