Hiring Alert ! ️Job Opening: SAP MM/WM Lead Senior Consultant (SME) Location: Columbus, Indiana (Hybrid 60% Onsite Required) ️Employment Type: Contract (W2 Employees Only) ️Experience Level: Expert (10+ Years) ️Duration: Ongoing Support Max Vendor Rate: $100/hr (Inclusive of mark-up) ️Expenses: Permitted ️Role Overview We are seeking an Expert SAP MM & WM Lead Senior Consultant to drive the ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of SAP Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules. ️Key Responsibilities Incident Management: Lead the resolution of high-priority, complex incidents and service requests within MM and WM, ensuring strict adherence to SLAs. Process Optimization: Proactively identify system bottlenecks and implement enhancements to configuration, reporting, and functional processes. User Support & Leadership: Serve as the primary SME for business users, providing guidance on day-to-day operations and complex process queries. System Monitoring & RCA: Proactively monitor system performance and conduct deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues to implement long-term fixes. Change Management: Analyze, test, and deploy system changes and upgrades following established change management protocols. Cross-Module Integration: Support and maintain seamless integration with related SAP modules including SD, PP, and FI/CO to ensure end-to-end integrity. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, support procedures, and training materials. ️Required Skills & Qualifications 10+ Years of Experience: Proven track record as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP MM and WM. ️Expert Configuration Knowledge: Deep technical expertise in MM (Procurement, Inventory Management, Physical Inventory) and WM (Warehouse Structures, Putaway/Picking strategies, RF/Mobile Data Entry). ️Support Excellence: Extensive experience in production support environments, managing complex tickets, and stakeholder communications. ️Integration Proficiency: Strong understanding of how MM/WM interacts with Sales & Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), and Finance/Controlling (FI/CO). ️Communication: Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical business users and collaborate with global IT teams. ️Work Requirements Hybrid Schedule: Candidate must be onsite in Columbus, Indiana, at least 60% of the time (3 days per week).
