SAP MM Purchasing Consultant (W2 Only)

Job Title: SAP MM Purchasing Consultant Location: Foster City, CA (Hybrid – 4 days onsite) Need local first priority Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Purchasing Consultant with deep expertise in Scheduling Agreements to support and enhance our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. This role focuses on optimizing long-term supplier collaboration and Just-in-Time (JIT) material delivery to ensure supply chain continuity and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Configure and support Scheduling Agreements and Purchase Orders within SAP MM. • Collaborate on Planning and Forecast processes with suppliers and internal stakeholders. • Develop and enhance RICEFW objects in procurement workflows. • Manage procurement master data to maintain system accuracy and integrity. • Work with SAP Ariba and SAP Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) integration processes. • Analyze, optimize, and document business processes to drive efficiency. • Conduct system testing, identify issues, and provide effective resolutions. • Deliver end-user training and prepare functional documentation. • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 4+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Consultant. • In-depth expertise in SAP MM Purchasing, including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Contracts, and especially Scheduling Agreements. • Strong experience in Scheduling Agreement Release Generation (Forecast & JIT) and related configuration (e.g., Creation Profile). • Solid understanding of MM-IM processes such as Goods Receipt (MIGO), Stock Transfers, and Physical Inventory. • Working knowledge of Logistics Execution (LE) and inbound delivery processing related to SAs. • Familiarity with integration points across MM, FI, and PP modules (especially MRP and MD04). • Understanding of EDI/IDoc message types for procurement documents. • Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori-based procurement applications. • Experience with Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) and Ariba SCC is a plus. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex supply chain challenges. • Excellent communication and presentation abilities; capable of conducting workshops and collaborating with both business and technical teams. • Self-driven with a demonstrated ability to manage deliverables independently and meet project deadlines.
