SAP MM Consultant
cBEYONData is excited to invite a talented and experienced SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant to join our team in supporting the configuration of SAP MM functionalities for a Federal customer. As a key player in our high-performing team, you will have opportunities for advancement while participating in critical Business Process Re-engineering sessions focused on analyzing and redesigning existing ECC system processes for a seamless transition into a consolidated SAP S/4 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze existing SAP MM-related business processes and configurations in SAP ECC.
• Support Business Process Re-engineering workshops to design how MM Master Data and Business Processes will be implemented in SAP S/4.
• Research best practices for effective implementation of processes in SAP S/4.
• Configure the MM Master Data, Vendor Master Data, and end-to-end SAP MM capabilities in SAP S/4 IMG according to established requirements.
• Demonstrate the configuration in SAP S/4 IMG to team members and provide recommendations for future process enhancements.
• Maintain an updated configuration tasks plan that aligns with agile sprints.
• Document configuration activities thoroughly.
• Prepare and present status briefings to clients and program leads regarding approaches and implementation progress.
Required Skills & Experience:
• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP ECC6.0 as a lead configurator for SAP MM Master Data and module.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on SAP MM experience with comprehensive knowledge of roles and tasks.
• Expertise in designing and configuring Material Master Data and Vendor Master Data.
• Experience with segmentation design and configuration.
• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies, particularly bi-weekly sprints.
• Hands-on experience in configuring business processes within SAP ECC and SAP S/4 IMG.
• Knowledge of SAP Best Practices related to SAP MM.
• Expertise in analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation of business solutions using SAP technologies.
• Proven experience in leading requirements analysis workshops with stakeholders, preferably in the Federal government sector.
• Strong problem-solving skills, able to evaluate complex factors to find effective solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage complex projects remotely.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for successful interactions with colleagues and executive leadership.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks independently.
• A self-directed, driven personality with a strong commitment to mission success.
Desired Skills & Experience:
• Experience leading teams utilizing Agile Software Methodology.
