SAP MM Consultant
Job Description We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales & Distribution) modules, along with advanced Variant Configuration (VC) skills. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end configuration experience, troubleshooting capabilities, and exposure to integration scenarios. Title: SAP MM Consultant Location: Hybrid Travel: Onsite travel to Ohio plant) during key project phases Core skills • Hands-on configuration experience across MM, SD in S/4HANA: • MM: procurement, purchasing, inventory management, valuation, MRP touchpoints, goods movements, release strategies/approvals. • SD: order-to-cash, pricing, delivery/shipping, billing, credit management exposure, output determination basics. • Variant Configuration (VC) expertise: • Characteristics, classes, configuration profiles, dependency modeling (procedures/preconditions/constraints). • Super BOM / routing selection, object dependencies, pricing conditions tied to configuration. • Troubleshooting of configuration inconsistencies and performance considerations. Nice-to-have • EDI/3PL integration exposure (orders, ASN, invoices) in OTC/PTP. • Experience with output management (Adobe forms/BRF+), IDocs, or APIs for sales/pricing. • Knowledge of embedded analytics for SD/MM reporting (CDS-based standard reports).
