SAP - IBP Supply Chain Consultant

Summary : SAP Analyst is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing SAP solutions related to Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Warehouse Management (WM). This role works closely with supply chain, manufacturing, and planning teams to ensure efficient system functionality, with a strong focus on Master Production Scheduling (MPS), demand planning, and sales forecasting processes. The analyst will translate business requirements into SAP solutions, support system improvements, and ensure integration across supply chain modules.
Key Responsibilities
• SAP Functional Support->
• Provide functional support for SAP modules PP, MM, and WM.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to production planning, inventory management, procurement, and warehouse operations.
• Support system configuration and enhancements aligned with business needs.
• Production Planning & Scheduling->
• Manage and optimize Master Production Scheduling (MPS) processes.
• Planning strategies
• Lot sizing procedures (Safety stock and reorder points, etc)
• Support integration of sales forecasts into production and procurement planning.
• Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to maintain accurate demand planning data.
• Ensure proper integration between forecasting inputs and MRP/MPS planning runs.
• Support procurement processes including PR, PO, and inventory valuation.
• Customize master data for materials, BOMs, and planning parameters.
• Coordinate integration between WM, MM/Ariba, and PP processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy and system efficiency.
• Support system testing, upgrades, and SAP enhancement projects.
• Document functional specifications and business process flows.
• Sales Forecasting & Demand Planning
• Inventory & Materials Management & Warehouse & Ariba
• Business Process Improvement
