We are currently seeking a SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in Remote, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).Development Lead (SAP Technical)Role OverviewThe SAP Development Lead oversees all SAP custom development initiatives, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions across ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and integration layers.Key Responsibilities• Lead a team of developers delivering custom solutions across SAP modules.• Define development standards, code review processes, and technical documentation.• Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs.• Manage performance optimization, transport management, and release planning.• Mentor and guide junior developers and coordinate offshore teams.• Support technical design for integrations, extensions, and enhancements.Required Skills• Expertise in ABAP (OO, CDS, BOPF, AMDP) and Fiori/UI5 development.• Experience with S/4HANA extensibility frameworks and BTP.• Strong understanding of SAP development lifecycle (ALM, CTS, GIT).• Excellent leadership and coordination skills.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.• 8+ years of SAP development experience with 2–3 years in a lead role.• SAP Certified Development Specialist preferred.About NTT DATA
