Sanitation Worker - 3rd shift
Sign-on Bonus: $1500.00
Mon-Fri: 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM, with OT plus Saturdays/Sundays as needed
The primary role of Sanitation is the cleaning of plant production equipment and facilities to meet food safety, customer quality, and worker safety requirements.
Essential duties and responsibilities
ā¢ Perform cleaning and sanitation of plant equipment and the environment in a thorough and safe manner
ā¢ Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified
ā¢ Ensure accurate record-keeping of Sanitation documentation is documented correctly according to company and regulatory regulations
ā¢ Adhere to all current standard operating procedures and quality requirements
ā¢ Maintain a clean work area
ā¢ Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
ā¢ High School diploma or GED preferred
ā¢ Sanitation/Janitorial experience
ā¢ Chemical certifications preferred
ā¢ Production and Warehouse experience desirable, food manufacturing a plus
ā¢ Must be flexible with hours, a possibility for OT
ā¢ Ability to lift up to 55lbs (55lbs-65lbs team lift)
ā¢ Must follow all WLF GMPs and work consistently with all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
Skills/Abilities
ā¢ Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
ā¢ Ability to prioritize and learn quickly
ā¢ Good verbal and written communication
ā¢ Ability to multi-task
ā¢ Strong attention to detail
ā¢ Strong organizational skills
ā¢ Ability to work in a wet environment
ā¢ Ability to work in a team
ā¢ Must have a sense of urgency
