Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with international sanctions laws and regulations.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate and train employees on compliance best practices and ensure a culture of ethical conduct.
Monitor and stay up-to-date on changes in sanctions laws and regulations and provide guidance to the company on how to adapt to these changes.
Provide legal advice and support to the business on sanctions-related matters.
Lead investigations into potential violations of sanctions laws and regulations and take appropriate actions to remediate any issues.
Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and serve as the main point of contact for any compliance-related inquiries or audits.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on compliance efforts and any potential risks or concerns.
Act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing guidance on complex compliance issues and finding practical solutions.
Monitor and analyze industry trends and developments in sanctions compliance and make recommendations to improve internal processes and procedures.
