Salesforce QA / Tester Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA / Tester to support federal government projects. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of Salesforce solutions through hands-on testing, collaboration with technical and business teams, and participation in the full development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Salesforce applications
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners during sprint cycles
• Participate in discovery sessions to understand business needs and translate them into test scenarios
• Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, and automations meet requirements
• Support release validation and post-deployment verification
• Utilize Azure DevOps tools for test management, defect tracking, and sprint activities
Required Qualifications
• At least one active Salesforce certification
• U.S. Citizen (required for federal projects)
• Prior federal government project experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience testing Salesforce systems
• Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality, data models, and security concepts
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Business analysis experience within Salesforce environments, including:
• Leading or participating in discovery sessions
• Writing and refining user stories
• Hands-on Salesforce configuration experience (e.g., flows, validation rules, page layouts)
• Experience using Azure DevOps for test and defect management
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
