Job Summary

The VALiNTRY360 Integrations Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing system integrations that enable seamless data flow across enterprise technology ecosystems, with a primary focus on Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms.

This is a fully remote, 6-month contract opportunity requiring approximately 20 hours per week.

We are open to hiring on either a W2 or Corp-to-Corp basis. Candidates must be U.S.-based.

At this time, we are considering independent consultants and direct C2C candidates only — third-party agencies will not be considered.

Pay Range $90.00 to $120.00 per hour, This position can compensate more depending on additional skills set that can be more valuable to the enterprise, don’t hesitate to apply if you’re a strong technical fit for this position.

This role serves as the technical and strategic liaison between business stakeholders, developers, and solution architects to ensure integration solutions align with client objectives and industry best practices.

As part of a cross-functional consulting team, the Integrations Consultant leads discovery, mapping, and implementation of data integration strategies connecting Salesforce, MuleSoft, ERP systems, marketing automation, customer support platforms, and data warehouses. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in API-led connectivity and Salesforce integrations with strong analytical and communication skills to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead design and execution of end-to-end Salesforce-centric integration strategies aligned with enterprise architecture
• Architect and implement integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led connectivity principles
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and architects to gather requirements and define system interfaces
• Translate business and technical requirements into data flow diagrams, mapping documents, and API specifications
• Develop, configure, and deploy integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and ETL tools
• Build reusable MuleSoft assets (APIs, connectors, templates) to improve delivery efficiency
• Manage and monitor data synchronization processes ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity
• Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and Salesforce platform best practices
• Participate in release planning, testing, and production deployments
• Provide technical consultation to clients on Salesforce integration patterns, MuleSoft best practices, and API management
• Support documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to client teams

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in systems integration, API development, or middleware solutions
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (required)
• Strong experience integrating with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Platform)
• Proven expertise in API-led architecture, REST/SOAP services, JSON, XML
• Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations using MuleSoft
• Strong understanding of data transformation, orchestration, and error handling patterns
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or SQL
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments

Required Certifications
• MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD – Level 1) or higher (Huge Plus)
• Salesforce Certification (at least one required), such as:
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
• Salesforce Administrator
• Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer (highly preferred)

Preferred Qualifications
• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Platform Architect
• Multiple Salesforce certifications (Architect track strongly preferred)
• Experience integrating enterprise systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration services
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS)
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA)
• Prior consulting experience delivering complex, multi-system integration programs

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Advanced certifications in Salesforce, MuleSoft, Integration Architecture, or Cloud Platforms are strongly preferred.
