This role focuses on building and maintaining secure, responsive, and tailored user experience using Salesforce Experience Cloud, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and related configurations.

You will partner closely with internal business partners to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs, and design security models, including sharing rules and user licensing—that ensure the right users have access to the right information. This position balances independent development work with cross-functional collaboration to continuously improve how Salesforce supports Evergreen’s programs and customers.

Communicate clearly and effectively, both technically and non-technically.

Show interest in or experience with energy efficiency, utilities, or customer-facing service environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Portal Development: Build and enhance custom Experience Cloud sites using LWC, Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript.

Customization: Develop custom apps, triggers, and controllers to extend platform functionality.

Integration: Integrate third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs to enable secure portal interactions.

Security Configuration: Implement complex security models, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules to protect partner/customer data.

Requirement Collaboration: Work with business analysts to translate business needs into technical designs and user-friendly portal interfaces.

Deployment: Use SFDX, ANT, Git, and DevOps tools to manage releases.

Take ownership of assigned work, follow through on commitments, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Minimum of 2 years of Salesforce development experience.

Strong proficiency in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

Hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities) implementation.

Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification.

Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.

Familiarity with DevOps tools and deployment pipelines.
