Advance the Technology. Abel Personnel is seeking a Salesforce Administrator (Network Administrator IV) to support a Department of Defense program in Linthicum Heights, MD. In this role, you’ll manage and optimize Salesforce environments used for defense and cybersecurity operations. You’ll ensure seamless system performance, data integrity, and compliance with Department of Defense cybersecurity frameworks. Your Impact • Configure, maintain, and optimize Salesforce environments to ensure reliability, scalability, and data security. • Administer user access, permissions, workflows, and automation for mission support. • Integrate Salesforce with approved DoD systems and data sources while maintaining strict cybersecurity compliance. • Develop custom dashboards, reports, and analytics to enable real-time operational decision-making. • Collaborate with network and cybersecurity teams to uphold STIG and RMF accreditation standards. • Troubleshoot system issues, apply upgrades, and ensure high availability and system readiness. • Provide end-user support, training, and system documentation. • Participate in configuration management, system audits, and change control processes. Required Qualifications • Active DoD Secret Clearance (Top Secret preferred). • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201). • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of professional experience in Salesforce Administration or Network/System Administration. • Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity frameworks, including DISA STIGs and RMF. • Experience maintaining system accreditation and compliance in secure IT environments. Preferred Qualifications • DoD 8570 IAT-II certification (e.g., Security+ CE). • Experience with Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning components. • Familiarity with ServiceNow, data integration tools, or federal IT systems. • Prior experience supporting Defense or Federal IT programs.
