Sales Service Associate

The Sales Service Associate role focuses on supporting sales teams within an assigned territory, ensuring clients understand their policies, and handling service work related to coverages and renewals. Responsibilities Reviews policy/coverages with insureds to ensure they have a full understanding of their policies Provides counsel to clients and documents on areas where coverage deficiencies exist Responsible for the delivery of assigned client Renewals, as assigned Handles all service work related to coverages, additions, deletions, renewals, adjustments and modifications in a timely and efficient manner Works closely with our Underwriting department to make sure all necessary renewal documents are completed and received Strives to retain clients at a rate acceptable to the Company Supports sales representatives in the delivery of Federated Risk Services material and services as assigned and prescribed by the company Supports the sales staff in the creation/development of a plan to address substandard business, striving to achieve an acceptable loss ratio in the territory Provides sales support as assigned and can be involved in some prospecting and presenting of new business opportunities Maintains well-documented files in good order Internal and external correspondence is handled professionally and promptly Teamwork and Communication Skills Previous sales/customer service experience or experience in an equivalent position dealing with interpersonal relationships Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience Excellent comprehension and oral communication skills Demonstrated organizational ability Strong interpersonal skills Working knowledge and ability to navigate computers and relevant software and programs Benefits Competitive salaries Employee share purchase plan Pension plans RRSP Discounts on staff insurance Flexible health benefits Early leave days Wellness programs Rewards Recognition programs Education assistance Internal mobility Mentoring programs Donation matching Team volunteer days Company Overview As the preferred insurance partner of over 90 associations across Canada, Federated Insurance has been serving Canadian businesses for 100 years.
