The Role: As a Sales Representative for the Municipal Water Division, you will be the primary contact for municipal customers, including water treatment facilities and utilities. You’ll manage relationships, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. Beyond municipal sales, you’ll also have the opportunity to cross-sell C&S’s full range of services, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to your customers. Your key responsibilities include: Essential Duties & Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal customers, including water treatment facilities, utilities, and government agencies. Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the municipal water sector. Proactively seek opportunities to cross-sell and promote additional C&S services outside of municipal water, including Industrial, Agricultural, and Specialty services. Deliver professional presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs. Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective accounts to meet sales goals. Account Management & Customer Service Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned municipal accounts. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing responsive service and technical support. Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, coordinating with internal teams as needed. Regularly review account performance and provide recommendations for product and service optimization. Collaboration & Reporting Partner with other business divisions to understand the full suite of C&S offerings. Collaborate with operations, technical, and account service teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions. Share customer insights with internal stakeholders to support product development, service enhancements, and operational improvements. Monitor municipal water industry trends, regulations, and competitive activity to inform sales strategy. Provide regular reporting on sales activities, forecasts, and results to sales leadership. Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as required.
