Sales & Marketing Specialist (TruStone)

Empire Life is looking for a Sales & Marketing Specialist to join their TruStone team. The role focuses on providing advisors with quotes, product support, and marketing strategies to enhance their business practices while fostering teamwork and independent work. The ideal candidate will also assist in training, onboarding new advisors, and generating sales reports. Responsibilities Individual Insurance Sales Support – provide quotes, new business and inforce illustrations using a variety of software programs including but not limited to: LifeGuide, Carrier Illustration Software, Cannex, Life Design Analysis Product Knowledge – must be well versed in the life and living benefits insurance products offered from all carriers TSF holds a contract with Technical Support – training our advisors and their admin staff on our back-office portal, WealthServ, in addition to our carrier portals and TSF digital resources Continued Education – help advisors obtain CE Credits Support the onboarding process for new advisors - including sending welcome communications, providing system access information, and offering guidance on internal processes as needed Sales Reports - generate reports using Excel and ensure accurate tracking of campaign performance and advisor reward metrics Project Management – work independently and as a team on a variety of sales initiatives and projects to expand the sales and marketing department and boost production Skills Minimum of a High School Diploma required Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills required Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, solution-oriented attitude Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to supporting advisors with professionalism and care Strong attention to detail/accuracy Ability to work well independently and as team member Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite required Post Secondary degree in a related field preferred Knowledge of insurance or investments an asset Benefits Company pension Dental care Disability insurance Employee assistance program Extended health care Life insurance Paid time off Company Overview The Empire Life Insurance Company (Empire Life) is a proud Canadian company that has been in business since 1923.
