Are YOU our next Sales Manager, Specialty and Genetics?
The Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales within the designated region/market areas of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Maintain strong planning strategies, review competitor information and positions and make recommendations to adjust marketing strategy as required. Meet or exceed sales objectives, maintain and develop client relationships. Identify opportunities to increase revenues and extend the scope of services offered.

Status: Permanent, Full-time
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM.

How YOU will make a difference:
Develop, manage and be accountable for sales budgets that focus on physicians and geneticists
Understand key publication data, clinical guidelines and competitive differentiators to be able to manage objections effectively
Plan, structure and develop a call plan that ensures delivery of key messages
Document and share key customer insights with sales management
Build and maintain key customer relationships
Actively present, negotiate and liaise with key physician’s, Genetic Counsellors and Geneticists to identify current sales opportunities but future other testing opportunities
Identify customer constraints or challenges with test access and present solutions to the leadership team that ensure sales growth
Internal
Coordinate with operational functions to ensure that smooth customer onboarding and quick customer engagement
External
Provide customer feedback that ensures delivery of customer excellence



What YOU bring to the role:
Demonstrated existing relationships in the healthcare provider community
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a scientific or business discipline with preference to a Genetic Counselling Degree
3+ years of experience selling health services with opinion leaders in the field
Technical Skills
Strong analytical skills, able to strategically plan and utilize creative thinking to investigate new business and market opportunities
Strong track record of implementing and executing tactics to achieve key strategic initiatives
Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding budgeted sales and profit objectives
Experience in managing existing accounts and a proven ability to secure new revenue
Excellent sales skills/potential with the proven ability to negotiate and close deals
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook)

Self-starter and comfortable working with autonomy
Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and able to adapt a sales approach based on audience (technical to senior management)
Possess a superior level of negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills to support building of stronger customer relationships externally and internally
Operate with integrity, build trust, quickly win and sustain credibility in relationships with others
Excellent observation and listening skills
Team player with results-oriented approach, professionally assertive and self-confident
Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Exhibit courage in a positive fashion and challenge the status quo to support superior business performance

Pay rate: $84,000 to $105,000
The hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirement
