Sales Engineer – Department of Defense (DoD) - Washington, DC
Silvus Technologies is seeking a Sales Engineer – DoD to provide technical support and sales services to customers. The role involves interacting with customers, conducting product demonstrations, and troubleshooting failures. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 2 years of experience in pre-and post-sales technical support. The role involves frequent travel and requires a U.S. Government SECRET clearance.
Requirements
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support
• Become an expert on Silvus' unique radio and networking solutions
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and deliver training
• Troubleshoot failures and abnormal situations in the field
• Collect and analyze field failures and abnormalities and provide feedback to the development team
• Help design engineers reproduce and troubleshoot problems
• Participate in resource allocation and hardware maintenance
• Help drive future product development
