Job Description:Job Title Sales Director, Trust and Agency Services Corporate Title DirectorLocation New York, NYOverviewDeutsche Bank is looking for an experienced business development professional to join its Sales Team as a Sales Director in Trust and Agency Services within the Corporate Bank. You will focus on covering a wide range of trust, agency, escrow, and related services provided to the capital markets. Develop and cultivate own relationships and deal origination channelsMeet with clients in person, attend conferences and functions frequently to ensure brand visibility and personal client engagementFocus on delivering client specific solutions that leverage the Bank’s expertise globally and position the Firm’s unique value proposition with prospects and clientsSupport and own the generation of significant revenue for the Bank over a sustained period of timeWork effectively with internal partners in product management, implementation, client service, legal and compliance teams to implement Corporate Trust Products in a timely manner for the clientsManaging the client’s risk through frequent touch points and escalation governance. Identify and when appropriate, implement opportunities for increased efficiency and improved service to internal and external clientsHow You’ll Lead Work with Sales Lead/Managing Director and product heads to formulate and execute sales and product growth plans with ownership and accountability for delivery of resultsSupport the development and the mentorship of junior talent and analyst team in their technical and execution knowledge of Corporate Trust solutions and deal execution activitiesPartner with Deutsche Banks’ Corporate and Investment Bank team and other internal relationship managers to provide seamless execution of Corporate Trusts Services associated with new transactionsSkills You’ll Need Experience in a sales capacity with extensive, in-depth product and market knowledge. Experience in one or more of the following sectors/products would be beneficial: Insurance, Escrow, Collateralized Loan Obligations, Asset Backed Securities, Project Finance or Unstructured Debt salesProven track record of independently identifying and closing sales opportunities through an active calling effort which focuses on multiple clients and effectively managing multiple priorities, while generating significant revenueStrong commercial acumen: understanding client/market problems, proactively tackling challenges and seizing opportunities as they ariseKnowledge of the regulatory environment and the impact on banking services within the Corporate Trust spaceExperience in reporting client/prospect activities and the associated financial metricsSkills That Will Help You ExcelA strategic thinker with the ability to understand broad business and client issues, their potential implications and to make sound business recommendationsDynamic, agile, highly motivated.
