Sales Development Team Lead

Bazaarvoice is looking for a Sales Development Team Lead, with a proven ability of handling the day-to-day requirements of a team of talented SDRs and managing stakeholder relationships.Our SDRs are required to understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically. Creativity is vital to this role. We need leaders who are hungry to get out and make business happen, who do not stop when obstacles are encountered, but rather, find alternative ways to overcome these challenges and continually drive momentum. We want candidates whose energy can be felt on the other end of the line: we want ambition!The ideal candidate will be able to articulate their ability to effectively manage both inbound and outbound Sales Development functions, as well as excellent communication skills. Being confident in positioning a high-ROI solution that can cost the client over $125,000 per year. Primary Duties of the role: Day-to-day coaching of the SDRs within the team to align with the needs of the business.Manage weekly 1:1’s with team membersWork with line manager on quarterly high performance coaching process (HCPs), including being an advocate for individual development plans (IDP’s)Assist in the preparation for weekly team meetings – and subbing in for line manager when neededReviewing and championingSalesforce.com(SFDC) and Gong Engage hygiene on a daily/weekly/monthly basis (activity volume, SQTs created/accepted/rejected, Opp progression and pipeline value add)Represent Sales Development in Sales and Marketing meetingsSupport the recruitment of new team members as requiredMentorship and onboarding assistance to new members on team (inc. assignment of BV Buddies) Characteristics: Leads by exampleBe a best practice champion!Consistently in the top half of their peers in terms of focus and quota attainmentA positive office contributor (be seen and heard!)Culture CaptainKeeps a positive attitude through changeProactive about aspirations to get into management at some point in career Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role: Bachelors degree and/or relevant working experienceExperience leading a team of SDRsExperience with working in a multi-team collaborative environmentExperience working withSalesforce.comand Gong Engage is a strong plusDemonstrated work ethic and consistent over achievementLead generation or sales experience a strong plusSelling eCommerce and Marketing focused solutionsThe ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter are vital to this role.Closing business and maintaining our cultural values is our goal, and we need leaders whose energy and ambition will drive Bazaarvoice to the next step!
